What We Do

Tower Systems builds POS software for local, independent retailers across Australia and New Zealand. We started in 1981 and today build solutions for today, and tomorrow. Our software is Australian made and supported.

In November 2024, the business was acquired by Vela APX, a division of Constellation Software (TSX: CSU). Nothing changed in how we operate. Same team, same focus.

We make what we sell. We train our customers in how to use it. We support them ourselves — no call centres, no outsourcing. Just our own team, based across Australia and New Zealand, backed by an online knowledge base and a 24/7 ChatBot.

Our focus is small business specialty retail. Independent stores. No chains, no franchises. We are good at one-on-one engagement with independent retailers, and that is all we do.

We are also straight with people. If we do not think our software is the right fit for your business, we will say so.

The software

Beyond core POS, our platform covers multistore management, loyalty programmes, gift cards, self-checkout, repairs, secondhand goods, eCommerce integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Magento, and accounting links including Xero. It is one platform, built deep for specialty retail.

ChatBot

Our customers have access to a ChatBot trained exclusively on Tower Systems software. It provides support in 40+ languages, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It handles the questions that do not need a human — freeing our team for the conversations that do.
